We sit inside the operation first
Dispatch, the estimating desk, the line, the crew. The workflow is the specification, not a slide deck. Most AI vendors sell you a model and walk away.
About Utah Tech Labs
Utah Tech Labs is an AI implementation company. We put engineers inside logistics, construction, manufacturing and field service operations, and we build the agents that run real work, not the pilots that stall after the demo.
Company overview
We started as a product engineering team, building software, hardware and IoT for companies whose work happens in warehouses, on jobsites and in the field. A decade of that kind of delivery is why we're not impressed by a model on its own, we've shipped enough systems to know the model is the easy part.
Today the company points at one problem: taking AI from something a business is curious about to something that quietly does a job every day. We put engineers on the floor with your crew and ship agents that run real operations, not demos.
Headquarters in Draper, Utah, with delivery teams working across time zones so your operation has coverage when it's running, not when it's convenient for us.
What we do differently
One team, from the first walkthrough to the agent that survives peak season.
Dispatch, the estimating desk, the line, the crew. The workflow is the specification, not a slide deck. Most AI vendors sell you a model and walk away.
Most companies don't need new software. They need the data trapped inside the systems they already pay for to become usable.
Then we stay, because an agent that isn't tuned as your operation changes stops being useful fast.
Code, models, pipelines and documentation are yours. No lock-in on the layer that runs your business.
What we hold to
We measure ourselves on what changes in your operation, hours removed, errors caught, orders shipped, not on features delivered.
Straight answers about what AI can and cannot do in your environment, including the parts we would not build for you.
New models are useful when they close a gap on the floor. Everything else is a demo, and demos do not run operations.
Data plumbing, permissions, edge cases, handover. That work decides whether an agent survives its first month in production.
Where we stand
Building software for operating companies since 2018.
Industries we build for: logistics, construction, manufacturing, field service.
Weeks to a first agent running against live data, in most engagements.
Of the code, models and pipelines we build are owned by the client.
“Most AI projects do not fail on the model. They fail because nobody stayed long enough to make it part of the work.”
